The course is designed to help students understand the concept of sustainability and consider what sustainable development means and how it impacts present and future generations.
This series of lessons covers how power was historically generated and the rise in the use of electricity. The student will learn about non-renewable and renewable energy and the pros and cons of fossil fuels.
This course comprises of six lessons and is designed for students in grades 4 to 6. It contains interactive content and activities designed to ensure that students understand how to interpret data about energy production in different countries and use that data to plot information on a bar graph.
At the end of this course students should be able to define sustainability and discuss its necessity to ensure the future for the people who will come after them.
