As a science Human anatomy is the study of form and shapes of human beings.
Throughout this course the student will become familiar with the concept of organs and define what they are. Then, they will learn about some of the most important organs in the human body.
The function of the skeleton as well as some of the major bones and different types of joints in the human body will also be a focus of this course.
This course comprises of two lessons and is designed for students in grades 4 to 6. It contains interactive content and activities designed to ensure that students can identify where the major organs and bones are located within the body.
At the end of this course the student should be able to define organ, identify the major organs in the body, define skeleton and identify the difference between exoskeletons and endoskeletons.
